Cresio Privacy Policy
This policy applies to Cresio: Count What Matters on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, developed by Le Dang Bao (“we”, “us”).
In short: we do not collect, see, sell or share your data. Everything you enter stays on your devices and in your own iCloud account. There are no accounts to sign up for, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
1. Data we collect
None. We run no servers that receive your data, and the app contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs. We never know who you are or how you use the app.
2. Where your data is stored
- On your device. Your counters, their history, notes, photos you choose as backgrounds, reminders and settings are stored inside the app on your device. The widgets, the Apple Watch app and the Live Activities read the same data.
- In your iCloud. If iCloud is turned on, the app syncs your data between your devices through Apple’s CloudKit, in your private iCloud database. This data belongs to your Apple Account and is protected by Apple under the Apple Privacy Policy. We cannot access it.
3. Internet connections the app makes
The app makes no connections of its own to our servers or to any third party. The only network traffic is the iCloud sync described above, which is handled by Apple, and the purchase check described below.
4. Permissions
- Photos: used only to pick an image you choose as a counter’s background. The app keeps a resized copy and never uploads the original. The copy stays on your device and in your iCloud.
- Notifications: reminders are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send push messages and no notification content leaves your device.
5. Purchases
Cresio Premium is a one-time purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. The app only checks with Apple whether your purchase is active.
6. Backup and export
The backup you export is a single file, with your photos and sounds included, created on your device. Where it goes afterwards is entirely your choice. A recap image you share from Statistics is also created on your device and goes only where you send it.
7. Deleting your data
You can delete your counters at any time from within the app. Deleting the app removes the data on that device. To remove your iCloud copy, go to Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage on iPhone or iPad (System Settings › Apple Account › iCloud on Mac) and delete Cresio’s data. Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
8. Children
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. If the app ever starts collecting any data, we will update this policy before that happens.
